Some info about elfin alchemy postage costs and which countries I post to, elfin alchemy is based in Lancashire and I'm now posting outside of the UK, (please contact me, as due to brexit your purchase needs to go via my Etsy shop).

Also some info about packaging, delivery times, exclusions, returning your goods and regulations.

delivery and returns

POSTAGE
please note: I don't post to PO boxes 

UK FREE POSTAGE for purchases over £40 

  • p&p £3.90 for orders below £40* 1st class signed post 
  • orders £40-65 FREE Postage 1st class signed post 
  • orders £66-100 FREE Postage 48 hours tracked/signed 

I'm now posting outside the UK, please note I don't sort out the customs fee, there might be a custom fee to pay when your order arrives 

tbc North America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China and Japan 

  • p&p £xx - items posted by Royal Mail International 'tracked post' with proof of postage (orders up to £35)

tbc Western Europe - via my etsy shop (I will create a custom order for you), but please be aware the cost will be approx 10% more than those listed here, plus postage fees and VAT*

*due to Brexit its now complicated to sell to the EU. I've looked into it and Etsy will do the necessary paperwork and you as the customer pay Etsy direct around 20% VAT (exact fee varies depending on your country), Etsy also charges me around 25% for the sale (I'm absorbing 15% of this) plus postage. If you are interested in any item listed here, I can create a custom order for you.   

Rest of the World  - not listed above

packaging 

elfin alchemy jewellery and accessories are beautifully packaged in 'made in Lancashire' recycled tissue paper and come in a pretty organza bag, bubble wrap and a padded jiffy bag.

delivery

on placing your order, you will be given an estimated delivery time, all pieces of elfin alchemy jewellery are handcrafted and normally posted out to you within 2-5* working days of receiving your order. If your order is urgent, let me know and I will do my best to get it sent to you sooner. 
*this is an estimate for guidance only, at certain busy times of year your order may take a few days extra

elfin alchemy is not liable for any postal delay, you will be contacted should there be any delays in making and posting your order.

some bespoke commissions take longer as they are created specially for you. Ash Fused Glass commissions please allow 6-8 weeks to receive your unique pieces.

OTHER STUFF

returns

elfin alchemy creates high quality and distinctive handmade jewellery and accessories, but should you be unhappy with your purchase when it arrives - there is a 7-day cooling-off period in accordance with the Consumer Contracts regulations 2014 - please contact elfin alchemy in writing (by email to samrowena@elfinalchemy.co.uk).

Goods must be returned in their original unworn/unused condition within 14 days of receiving the item (you will need to pay for the return postage). After checking your returned item, a refund will be issued to you via the payment method you used to purchase the items.

please note elfin alchemy is unable to accept returns of certain items:

  • earrings - due to hygiene reasons
  • bespoke commissions 
  • bespoke commissions for Ash Fused Glass

a faulty piece
I want you to enjoy wearing your elfin alchemy jewellery, each piece is lovingly handcrafted by me, a skilled craftswoman, who takes pride in making jewellery that is of a high standard and excellent quality. 

Your order is double-checked before being sent out, but should you find a fault in your piece of elfin alchemy, please contact elfin alchemy in writing (by email to samrowena@elfinalchemy.co.uk) within 7 days of receiving your item. For a full refund, goods must be returned in their original unworn/unused condition within 14 days of receiving the item. After checking your returned item I will send you a replacement, if the item is no longer in stock a refund will be issued. 

other returns
please note: If you wish to return items, you will need to contact elfin alchemy in writing – by email to samrowena@elfinalchemy.co.uk - and quote your order reference number, state the item you wish to return and the reason. When returning items: please include the original packaging with your item and send it by 'signed for' (recorded delivery) to the return address, as elfin alchemy does not accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged in transit. You will need to pay the return postage costs, plus the original cost charged by the post office to send your item to you.
